How to Onboard as an EOR Employee

Your step-by-step guide for onboarding to the platform

Welcome! You’re joining your new company through our Employer of Record (EOR) service. That means we’ll be your legal employer for payroll, benefits, and compliance purposes, while you work day-to-day with your hiring company.

This guide will walk you through setting up your account in our platform so you can get paid correctly and on time.


Before You Start

Have the following ready:

  • Your EOR onboarding invitation email from our platform

  • Valid government-issued ID (passport or local ID card)

  • Your tax information (national ID number, social security number, or local equivalent)

  • Your bank account details for salary payments

  • Any required work permits or visas (if applicable in your country)


Accept Your Invitation

  1. Open the email titled Welcome to Globalli

  2. Click Start Onboarding to create your account.

  3. Select I'm an Employee

  4. Complete the Company Registration by entering the Company ID that was included in your welcome email.

  5. Verify the company is correct and click Continue.

  6. Create your account. Enter the Email Address where you received the welcome email and click Continue.

  7. Create a Password and click Continue

💡 If you can’t find the email, check your spam/junk folder, contact your Manager, or reach out to our Support team.


Verify Your Information and Enable Permissions

  1. Enable Compliance documents view access

  2. Enable Payslips view access

  3. Review and accept the Privacy Notice

  4. Click Continue


Verify your Role and Compensation Information

  1. If the information is accurate, click the check box for I verify that this information is correct to proceed with onboarding process.

  2. If the informations is inaccurate, select Decline. A pop-up window will appear for your to describe the issue(s). Once you've shared your concerns, click Submit. We'll pause the onboarding process until the issue(s) are addressed by forwarding them to your employer.


Complete Your Personal Information

As part of your EOR employment, we need accurate personal information for compliance in your country:

  1. Upload a Profile Photo. This will appear as your avatar throughout the platform.

  2. Enter:

    • Full legal name (matching your ID)

    • Date of birth

    • SSS/TIN

    • Marital Status

    • Home address details

    • Contact details (phone, email)

  3. Click Continue


Right to Work / ID Verification

Please fill out your right-to-work information based on the country of hire.

  1. Select your Country of Citizenship

  2. Select Yes or No for Do you have the legal right to work in country?

  3. Select Yes or No for Will you now or in the future require sponsorship to work within country?

  4. Complete the country required information

  5. Click Verify ID to verify your identification with Persona.

  6. Once verified Click Continue

  7. If you experience issues verifying your ID through Persona, please review this Help Article or contact our Support Team.


Upload Required Documents

  1. Upload any required documents or links that are specified.

  2. Click Continue


Add Emergency Contact(s)

  1. Add your emergency contact(s). At least one contact is required. Provide their First Name, Last Name, Relationship, Phone Number, and Email.

  2. Click Continue


Tax Information

Because we’re your legal employer, we’re responsible for meeting local labor and tax requirements.

  1. Upload your country-specific tax form

  • Click Continue


Banking Details for Direct Deposit

  1. Go to Bank Details.

  2. Enter:

    • Bank name

    • Account Holder Name (needs to match your ID)

    • Account number

    • IBAN

    • Sort/Route Code/BSB

    • SWIFT code

  3. Confirm your banking information carefully—errors can cause payment delays.

  4. Enter your Bank Location Information

  5. Click Save

  6. Review the Terms & Conditions and select the checkbox for I have read and agree to the Terms & Conditions

  7. Select the check box for I authorize my direct deposition for my salary to be deposited in the accounts provided above.

  8. Click Finish My Profile

🌍 If you’re paid in a different currency than your bank’s, check if your bank supports foreign currency deposits.


Enter Additional Information

Enter any additional information that may be required based on your country of work. This may include additional banking details, tax information, role information, and social security information

  1. Enter required information

  2. When complete, click Finish My Profile.



Benefits Enrolment

Now that your profile is complete, you can begin your Benefits Enrolment.

  1. Review plans offered

  2. Add dependents or skip this step

  3. Review Total Benefits Cost

  4. Click Continue

  5. Click Finish Benefits Enrolment


Signature Documents


Background Check

Background checks are completed in conjunction with our partner, Veremark.

  1. Click Start Process. This will result in an email being sent out to help you complete the required information.

  2. Click Continue


Communities

Communities is a platform for employee collaboration, company updates, and professional growth resources.

  • Connect & Collaborate. Engage with peers globally, share insights, and drive collaborative projects within our Community Hub.

  • Stay Informed & Compliant. Get updates on company news, compliance protocols, and payroll processes seamlessly through the platform.

  • Enhance Your Growth. Utilize tools for personal and professional development, with access to continuous market research and technological advancements.

Ready to jump in? Click Continue to set up your profile and begin exploring.

Tell Us A Little Bit About You!

This is optional. Almost done! Before we finish up, we'd love to learn more about you so we can introduce you to the team. Please answer the questions and we will send your future colleagues a summary of you by email.

Connections

(Optional)

Connect your digital experience with our 'Connections' section. Connect once, and engage with all your networks and tools in one spot.

Social Networks

People can connect with others in the same area, families, friends, and those with the same interests.

This is optional. Select I don't have it if you do not have or do not wish to include.

Click Continue

Spaces

  • Join recommended Spaces and Click Continue

Profile Cover

Choose from Library or Upload your own Profile Cover to customize your profile cover image.


What Happens Next

Once you’re onboarded, you can:

  • View payslips and tax documents

  • Request leave according to your local entitlement

  • Track time (if required by your role)

  • Update personal details when they change


Troubleshooting

Q: My invitation link expired.
A: Contact your onboarding specialist to resend it.

Q: I can’t upload my ID.
A: Ensure it’s in PDF, JPG, or PNG format and within file size limits.

Q: I’m unsure which tax form to complete.
A: Your EOR onboarding specialist will guide you based on your country’s requirements.
