Globalli's Employee Self-Service Onboarding guides employees from their invitation email to their first day in Globalli, in one flow. You'll set up your profile, enroll in benefits, sign your documents, complete any background checks and join the company community.
The flow adapts to your country, role and eligibility. You'll only see the fields, documents, benefits and checks that apply to you. Each step must be completed before you can move to the next.
Before you begin
Have these ready so you can finish in one sitting:
Your invitation email from Globalli
Your passport or government-issued ID, and a phone or webcam to take a selfie for ID verification
Your tax file number and tax form
Your bank account details
Digital copies of any documents your country requires (for example, in Colombia: a bank account certification, passport or citizen card, and a criminal record certificate)
Name, phone number and email for an emergency contact
Name, date of birth, relationship, country and gender for any dependents you want to add to your benefits
Step 1: Create your account
Open your invitation email. It includes a personal message, your company ID and a secure registration link.
Click the registration link.
On the Globalli registration page, enter your email and set a password.
Your onboarding starts automatically as soon as you register.
Step 2: Set up your profile
Complete each screen, then click Continue. Fields marked as required change depending on your country.
Permissions. Review and accept the mandatory acknowledgments, the compliance documents and the privacy notice.
Role and compensation. Check your role title, employment type and compensation package.
If something is wrong, click Decline, add a short title for the issue and describe it. Your HR manager is notified right away. Once they correct your offer, you can restart onboarding with the updated details.
Personal information. Upload a profile picture and enter details such as gender, date of birth, marital status and home address. Some countries ask for additional information (for example, Colombia asks for blood type, city of birth and citizen ID number; Germany asks for religion and immigration status).
Right to work. Enter your citizenship, answer whether you have the right to work in the country and whether you need sponsorship, then enter your passport number. Next, verify your identity through Persona by taking a selfie and uploading a photo of your government-issued ID.
Required documents. Upload each document requested for your country. You can't continue until all required documents are uploaded.
Emergency contact. Add your contact's first name, last name, phone number, relationship and email address.
Tax information. Enter your tax file number and upload your tax form. If your company provided a blank form, download it, fill it in and upload it.
Banking details. Enter your bank account details and accept the terms and conditions. The fields change based on your bank's country (for example, European accounts require an IBAN).
Additional information. Complete any country-specific fields (for example, in Colombia you select a pension and severance fund and your account type; in the UK you enter your National Insurance number).
When you finish this screen, your employee profile is created.
Step 3: Enroll in benefits
You'll only see the benefits you're eligible for, based on your age, contract and work status.
Add dependents. Enter each dependent's name, date of birth, relationship, country and gender. Dependents can affect your eligibility, coverage and pricing.
Choose a plan for each benefit. For each benefit type (for example, accident insurance, medical and wellness), review the plan options and select one. Click Compare plans to see what each plan includes side by side.
Include your dependents where offered. Some benefits, such as medical, let you add dependents to your coverage. The plan price updates automatically when you do.
Review your summary. Check the plans you selected, then click Continue to finish enrollment.
Step 4: Review and sign documents
All documents are signed digitally inside Globalli.
Offer letter. Click Review and sign, accept the terms and conditions, and read the document. Click the signature field, choose your signature and click Finish.
Additional documents. Open each item and sign or acknowledge it, as marked. Some items only need an acknowledgment, such as links to government resources.
Employment agreement. Click Review and sign, read the agreement, sign it and click Finish.
The Continue button is enabled once every document is signed or acknowledged.
Step 5: Complete your background check
If your country or role requires a background check, you'll receive an email asking you to complete verification through Globalli's background check partner. Checks may include criminal record, education or employment history.
Follow the steps in the email. Once your check is complete, you can continue to the final step.
Step 6: Join the community and finish
Answer a few icebreaker questions to introduce yourself, and add your social media links if you'd like. Both are optional.
Join any community spaces that interest you, such as spaces for hobbies or sports. This is also optional.
Preview your full profile, then click Continue.
Your onboarding is now complete, and you've officially joined the company.
Tips and troubleshooting
I can't click Continue. Make sure every required field is filled in and every required document is uploaded, signed or acknowledged. Required steps block you from moving forward until they're complete.
A step or field I expected isn't showing. Fields, documents, benefits and checks depend on your country, role and eligibility, so some may not apply to you.
My offer details are wrong. On the role and compensation screen, click Decline and describe the issue. Your HR manager will correct it, and you can then restart onboarding.
My benefit price changed. Adding dependents to a plan updates its price automatically.
I didn't get the background check email. Check your spam folder, then contact your HR team.
I didn't receive an invitation. Check your spam folder, then ask your HR team to resend it.
