Overview

This video explains the difference between hiring a Contractor as an Individual or as a Business Entity, as well as three different contract types for payment. This overview is designed for Company Admins who want to learn more about onboarding contractors.

What Youโ€™ll Learn

  • How to add an Individual with a Fixed Rate or Pay-As-You-Go contract type.

  • How to add a Contractor as a Business Entity with a Milestone-based contract.


Step Summary

Individual Contractor

  1. Login to app.globalli.io

  2. Click +Add New Hire from the main Dashboard or go to to People from the left-hand navigation and then select +Add New Hire.

  3. Select New Contractor and then Start

  4. Select Contractor

  5. Choose whether Contractor is being engaged as an Individual or Business Entity. For Individual, proceed as follows.

  6. Enter Contract Details.

  7. Capture Contractor Information

  8. Enter Payment Terms, including currency, bill rate and invoicing information

  9. Upload Documents. This may include supporting files such as compliance forms or the contractor's certification.

  10. Upload the Contract, and setup e-signature

  11. Review Summary Information

  12. Review or Purchase additional Licenses if needed.

Business Entity

  1. Login to app.globalli.io

  2. Click +Add New Hire from the main Dashboard or go to to People from the left-hand navigation and then select +Add New Hire.

  3. Select New Contractor and then Start

  4. Select Contractor

  5. Choose whether Contractor is being engaged as an Individual or Business Entity. For Business Entity, proceed as follows.

  6. Enter Contract Details.

  7. Enter Business Entity Information and Business Point of Contact.

  8. Set the Payment details

  9. Enter the Invoicing Information
