Globalli must collect and record the SIN within three days of the employee starting work.
3. Banking Information
Requirement:
Employees must provide bank account details for payroll processing.
Purpose:
Enables electronic salary payments via direct deposit
Ensures payroll accuracy and traceability
Supports accounting and financial compliance
4. ID Card- Optional but not required
Requirement:
Employees may be required to provide a government-issued ID (e.g., driver's license or provincial ID).
Purpose:

5. Passport or Visa (Foreign Workers)
Requirement:
Foreign nationals must provide:
Valid passport
Work permit or visa authorizing employment in Canada

6. TD1 Form (Personal Tax Credits Return)- Optional but not required
Requirement:
Employees must complete the TD1 Form, which determines federal tax credits.
Purpose:
Determines the correct amount of income tax to withhold from salary
Accounts for personal tax credits and deductions
Required for accurate payroll tax calculation
Employees may also complete a provincial or territorial TD1 form depending on their location.
